Hiring and Eligibility
The North Riverside Fire Department falls under the rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission of the Village of North Riverside.
The current eligibility list
expires on May 29, 2008.
Public notice will be made when applications will next be made available.
All applicants must meet these requirements:
- Be a United States Citizen of good moral character
- Have attained minimum age of 21 years at time of application filing deadline
- Be under 35 years of age per 65 ILCS 5/10-1-7 with the exception of § 10-1-7 (d) of said statute
- Have proof of high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid Illinois drivers license
