No permit shall be granted or work commenced unless the contractor has registered with the village. Applications for Contractor Annual Registration are available by clicking here.  Certificate of Insurance must be submitted with Contractor Registration Application, that names the Village of North Riverside as Certificate Holders as well as Additionally Insured for General Liability.  The current fee for Contractor Registration is $225.00, which is good per calendar year.  The following is a list of additional requirements for certain contractors:

 Plumbers & Electricians - $10,000.00 Surety Bond Required
 Plumbers, Electricians & Roofers – Copy of Current License
