The North Riverside Building Department is responsible for overseeing all construction within the village.  The Building Department issues permits for all construction and sign installation, conducts thorough plan reviews, as well as enforcing building codes related to construction.  The Building Commissioner inspects a variety of projects from commercial to residential buildings.  In addition, the Building Department also conducts Pre-Sale Inspections before any property is sold in the village and ensures the compliance with Zoning Codes.
