72 HOUR PARKING ORDINANCE
Ordinance number 99-0-11 (1999) states “It is unlawful for an owner of any vehicle to permit such vehicle to stand or remain parked on any single space on any street located within the Village for a period of time in excess of seventy-two consecutive hours.” Click Here for a copy of the ordinance.
PARKING OF CERTAIN VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS
Specialized Commercial Vehicles: None of the following types of vehicles shall be kept or stored on any premises except in a garage: buses, semi-tractors, backhoes, bobcats, snow plows, trailers, truck which have a load-bearing capacity of 1.5 tons or greater, motor homes and similar types of vehicles or equipment.
Prohibited Vehicles in Residential Areas: Any motor vehicle including, but not limited to, automobiles, recreational vehicles, commercial vehicles, construction vehicles, buses and motor vehicles to which is attached a snowplow shall be prohibited from parking on any property which property has a residential zoning classification if such vehicle weights in excess of 8,000 pounds. The prohibition set forth in this Section shall not be applicable to any such prohibited vehicle which is parked on any public street, road or alley. Any regulation of such vehicles on such public streets, roads or alleys may be regulated pursuant to other law or ordinance of the Village. The vehicle is parked within a garage or other fully enclosed structure. The restriction imposed by this Section shall be applicable even if the prohibited vehicle is parked within a garage or other fully enclosed structure. The restriction imposed by this Section shall not be applicable where the prohibited vehicle is located on the property on a temporary basis in conjunction with the performance of a certain task or service on the property such as a delivery or construction activity.
