The Village Of North Riverside requires all dogs to be licensed.  Licenses are issued yearly and are valid from January 1st to December 31st.  You may obtain a license by visiting the Village Commons during normal business hours.  A current rabies vaccination certificate number is required with each dog license application.  A fee of $10.00 is charged for each dog.

Village ordinance dictates that no person shall harbor or own more than 3 dogs or cats (or combination thereof) in a residential district as prescribed by the Village’s Zoning Regulations.
