The North Riverside Fire Department offers free blood pressure screening checks Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 2331 S. Desplaines. You will be given a wallet size card so your blood pressure can be recorded each visit. Although appointments are not necessary, you may want to call before leaving to see if personnel are available.
The Riverside Township also provides free blood pressure screenings on the first Wednesday of every month from 9AM to 11AM in the Village Commons. Also, Advocate Health offers blood sugar screenings at the same time. Please call the North Riverside Recreation at (708) 442-5515 for more information.
