Village Water Passes EPA Standards

Per Federal EPA requirements, the Village of North Riverside was required to conduct 30 Lead samples at pre-determined sites that were approved by the Illinois EPA. These tests were conducted on September 7, 2016.  Each homeowner received a sampling bottle and required to fill after letting the water sit stagnant for at least 6 hours.  The samples were collected and delivered to PDC Labarotories in Peoria, IL for testing.  We are proud to announce that all 30 samples passed the standards set by the EPA.

In June of this year, Komarek School requested Lead sampling to be conducted on their water fountains and sinks.

All samples taken passed the EPA standards.
