SENIOR CLUBS

Golden Agers Club

We have a wonderful group of Golden Agers—a very active club! The group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month in the Village Commons. If you are a resident age 60 and over, would like to meet new friends and take part in many activities, give the Golden Agers a try! For information, call Mildred DeCosola at 447-4432.

Just-In-Between Club

This is a club for residents only between the ages of 50 and 64 years of age who are not a member of any senior citizen group. Members are active and meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Community Room. Join this club for parties, bingo night, trips, plays, dinners and more. For information, call Barb Gurski at 447-0371.

NORTH RIVERSIDE SENIOR FAIR

Each year in May, the North Riverside Recreation, in conjunction with surrounding towns, representatives from cooperating agencies (such as Aging Care Connections), local nursing homes, senior organizations, retail stores, assisted living communities and government agencies (Secretary of State), hold an informational fair in the Village Commons.  The representatives will provide you with valuable information from their respective companies/agencies.  The Secretary of State’s Mobile Services Unit is also on hand for ID cards, vision screening, duplicate Photo ID’s, and driver’s licence renewals.

For more specific information and to answer any questions, please contact the Recreation Department at 442-5515
