Contractor Registration

No permit shall be granted or work commenced unless the contractor has registered with the village. Certificate of Insurance must be submitted with Contractor Registration Application, which names the Village of North Riverside as Certificate Holders as well as Additionally Insured for General Liability. The current fee for Contractor Registration is $225, which is good per calendar year. The following is a list of additional requirements for certain contractors:

  • Electricians - $10,000 Surety Bond and Copy of Current Electrical License
  • Roofers– Copy of Current State Roofing License
  • Plumbers – Copy of Current State Plumbing License and Letter of Intent

  4. Fee and Payment Method

    The fee for contractor registration is $225.00 per calendar year.  We accept cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only) as a form of payment.  Credit card payments will incur a processing fee of 2.25%.  Checks should be made payable to the Village of North Riverside located at 2401 S. Desplaines Avenue, North Riverside, Illinois 60546.
