Responsibilities

The Village of North Riverside operates under the Trustee-Administrator form of government and is a non-home rule community. The Mayor, with the concurrence of the Board of Trustees, appoints a full-time Administrator to oversee the efficient delivery of all Village services as defined by the Village Board. The Village Administrator is the chief administrative officer responsible for the professional management of all departments and the day-to-day operations of the Village. The Village Administrator also acts as the Deputy Liquor Commissioner to the Mayor.

General Inquiries

Residents may address general inquiries to the Administrative Offices. Specific issues or project concerns related to an individual department are asked to be referred directly to that department to make certain that the matter is addressed in the most comprehensive manner.
