Ambulance Service
Ambulance Service
The North Riverside Fire Department provides Emergency Medical Services to residents and visitors of the Village 24 hours a day. The Department operates a fully equipped paramedic ambulance which is staffed by 2 full-time paramedics. All of our firefighters are trained as Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians and will provide support to the paramedics for critical calls, and for multiple ambulance calls. Because the North Riverside Fire Department provides emergency service, we can only transport to the closest appropriate hospital. Currently, we transport to Loyola, LaGrange, MacNeal, Oak Park, Elmhurst, or Hines Hospitals.
