Message From The Chief Of Police

On behalf of the men and women of the North Riverside Police Department, welcome to our website. It is my honor to serve as your Chief of Police.

We have accomplished many things as a police department, but we have even higher expectations for our future. We owe our success to the dedicated members of our department and the unbelievable support we get from our community. We are also very grateful to our Village Board and Village management team who ensure that we have outstanding training and equipment to serve our citizens with the professionalism they deserve.  

The North Riverside Police Department’s mission is to preserve public safety and quality of life within the Village of North Riverside, to respond effectively to the changing needs of the community, and to promote mutual respect between the Police Department and the people we serve.

We take our partnership with the community very seriously. We know the trust our citizens have placed in the department and work every day to ensure that we maintain an organization they can be proud to call their own. We continue to look for innovative ways to engage the public and allow them access to better understand what we do, how they can help us do our job better and how we can serve them more efficiently.
