Ordinance No. 22-O-03 Pest Control
8.80.010 – Inspection required.
All single-family residential rental, multi-family, commercial, industrial, restaurant, school, recreation facilities, and church properties shall conduct pest control inspections with a licensed pest control service. All properties subject to this section shall maintain a log of pest control inspections and service calls, and shall provide copies of the same to the Village.
8.80.020 – Inspection schedule.
All buildings and/or businesses subject to this section shall conduct pest control inspection on the following schedule:
A. Single-family residential rentals and multi-family residential (less than four units): quarterly.
B. Multi-family residential (five to ten units), commercial and industrial (less than 40,000 square feet, but not including restaurants, schools, recreation facilities), and churches: monthly.
C. Multi-family residential (more than ten units), commercial and industrial (greater than 40,000 square feet), restaurants, schools, recreation facilities: bi-weekly.
D. Any facility that serves food with occupancy rated over 500 persons: weekly.
8.80.030 – Inspection fees.
The owner of any building and/or business subject to this section shall pay an annual inspection fee to the village as follows:

8.80.040 – Violation-Penalty.
Any person, firm, corporation, partnership, company or other entity violating any provision of this chapter will be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
