Information on Age Groups & Class Options
Ready…Set…Grow! A first step to your child’s education!
This special class for 2 & 3 year old is designed as an educational first step. Fun, age appropriate activities will be offered with special emphasis placed on socialization, sharing, following directions, building attention spans and creativity all through the use of positive reinforcement. The class will be held in the Preschool Room as well as utilizing the Gym for large motor activities. Child must be able to separate easily from a parent or caregiver. Pull ups are acceptable if not completely restroom independent. (Parents will be called if there is an accident, staff are not allowed to change diapers)
Ages: 2-3 years
Time: 12pm-1:15pm

3-Year-Old Program
The child must be 3 by October 1st and fully toilet trained. The program runs from late August to mid-May.
The age requirements are as stated. No exceptions are made. Please bring a birth certificate to register for all new students. Children must be bathroom independent.
Tu/Th AM Preschool
The emphasis of our program is "Learning through Play." Our goal is to assist in nurturing your child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through play, their most important work.
Our 3-year old class is the first step to a successful academic career for your youngster. Your child is ready to be introduced to the concepts of cooperative play, successful socialization, and the development of new interests and playmates. We will provide your child with a thoughtful balance of learning, free play, craft time, and quiet time.
Ages: 3–4 Years

PRESCHOOL PALS
Bring your lunch and join us for an extended day of learning and fun. We will be adding in some additional science and math activities as well as going outside (weather permitting) for some extra fresh air and nature exploration. This is a great program for wanting to extend your preschoolers day. This program is open to children enrolled in other community preschool in the morning.

Assistance
Note that the Youth Scholarship Program is available to assist those resident parents who are experiencing economic setbacks and need assistance in paying their child's preschool fees. Feel free to stop in and pick up an application. The Recreation Director will review the application and the child may have all or part of his/her fees waived. Your privacy is assured!

4-Year-Old and Jr. Kindergarten Programs

M/W/F AM Junior Kindergarten
Our Jr. Kindergarten/4-year old class will provide your child with the opportunity to learn through independent and group activities. Lessons, including circle time, stories, art, songs, large and small motor exercises, and cognitive and language skills are all developmentally age-appropriate. Learning is fun and prepares your child for kindergarten.

KinderKollege
Our fun-filled Kinder Kollege after-school program is for children enrolled in morning Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs. This half-day program will engage children in activities and serve as an extension of the kindergarten curriculum strengthening their academic success. Planned activities will foster the development of basic skills and concepts in reading, math, science, motor skills and encourage the formation of both large and small social groups throughout the afternoon.
