The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DECO) is working to provide the Small Business Administration (SBA) with information from small businesses and non-profits who have been severely impacted by the recent civil unrest.
The SBA can provide targeted, low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits who have been severely impacted by the civil unrest if the county receives a disaster declaration. In order for the SBA to issue a disaster declaration, businesses must first document their damages from the protests and looting.
To streamline the process, DECO has created a form to collect the information from businesses that have been negatively impacted. If your business has experienced property damage or economic losses due to civil unrest, please click the link below and submit a completed form.
Please Note: The form is not an application for funding and information obtained will not be used for or against your business if you decide to later submit an application for a loan through SBA.
